I’m excited to continue to serve as the Middle School Counselor and to be part of the Carmichaels Area Middle School community. I began working at Carmichaels Area School District in 2024, and I feel very fortunate to continue growing and building relationships within our school community.
Middle school can be a tough time for students. There are so many changes happening academically, socially, and emotionally, and students are learning more about who they are and who they want to become. My goal is to provide a welcoming and supportive environment where every student feels heard, valued, and encouraged to reach their full potential. Whether a student needs help with academics, friendships, organization, emotions, goal setting, or simply needs someone to talk to, I want them to know that my door is always open.
In addition to my role as Middle School Counselor, I serve as the District 504 Coordinator and McKinney-Vento Homeless Liaison. I work closely with students, families, teachers, and staff to ensure students have the support and resources they need to be successful.
I earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Saint Vincent College in 2021 before continuing my education at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where I earned my Master of Education in School Counseling in 2023. I’m passionate about working with middle school students and helping them recognize their strengths, build confidence, and develop the skills they need both in and outside of the classroom.
Outside of school, I got married in November 2025 and enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also love spending time with my Chocolate Labrador, Moose, who is a big part of my family and definitely keeps life interesting!
