After graduating from California University, I worked as both a long term and day-to-day substitute in the West Greene School District for two and a half years. While at West Greene, I coached little league baseball and basketball, middle school boys and girls basketball, as well as varsity boys baseball and varsity girls basketball. I am proud to have helped coach my alma mater's Lady Pioneers to multiple trips to the WPIAL playoffs, including its first playoff win in school history, section title banners in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022 reaching the WPIAL Championship at the Petersen Events Center (a Greene County first---2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021), and 5 consecutive trips into the PIAA basketball tournament. During this run we were also able to win 66 consecutive section games in row. In 2009, I was hired as a full-time educator here at Carmichaels Area School District. During my tenure at Carmichaels, I have taught multiple disciplines and grade levels of science. Outside of teaching these core subjects, I am currently the Middle School Science Club Facilitator and TEAM leader for the 8th grade class. This year I will also be teaching an Astronomy 7 rotation class. Presently, my wife Sara (1st grade educator at West Greene Elementary), my three sons, Jackson, Hudson, Dawson and I, reside in Greene County.
